Sam, the petite, poor college student, runs into the owner of the largest gambling ring in the world, Colby Brock, on his way to work. Literally runs into him. Before running off, Sam catches two things: pure blue eyes, and a gold ring with the initials 'C.B' A year or so later, Sam's still working as a barista at the local gay bar, when someone walks in. A ring clad hand taps the counter as the owner orders a drink. One ring makes a particularly loud sound against the stone. A ring with the initials 'C.B' Sam's life flips upside down, going from struggling to pay rent and college tuition, to living in penthouses and mansions with million-dollar pizzas. However, there are certain dangers when one falls in love with a gangster.

He hadn't just only lost track of his bestfriend. It felt like his knees would bend to just let the floor swallow him whole. And partially, he wouldn't mind. "Sam?" Colby called out, yelling out into the midst as his voice wore off it's investigating tone. Replaced by something raw, needy and urgent. And it scared him more than the luring blues of Sam's eyes.​
